Noah Glass (Olo Online Ordering)
Noah Glass (born 1981) is the CEO of Olo (Online Ordering), a software company that provides online food ordering services across the United States. He founded the company, originally called GoMobo.com, in 2005.[1]
Education and Early Life
Glass grew up in Newton Center, Massachusetts. As a teen, he worked as a delivery driver for the local restaurant Pizzaman.
Glass holds a B.A. in political science from Yale University. He withdrew admission from Harvard Business School to begin GoMobo.com, after an investor offered him $500,000 in seed money contingent on his withdrawal.[2]
Career
Glass is most well known for being a software entrepreneur.[3] GoMobo.com (later renamed Olo) was the first United States company to offer online food ordering through text message.[4][5] Today, Olo's primary product is white-labeled food ordering software that integrates with restaurant point of sale systems. More recently, Olo released Dispatch, a product that matches food delivery customers with delivery drivers through Uber (company) and other services.[6]
Before founding GoMobo/Olo, Glass held positions at Amnesty International, Braun Consulting, Endeavor Global, the National Retail Federation, and Shutterfly.com.[7] He also worked in the foodservice industry.
Personal life
Glass lives in New York City with his wife Maeve.
