Currently held by | Tom Giovatto, St. Francis Brooklyn |
The Northeast Conference Men's Soccer Coach of the Year is a soccer award given to head coaches in the Northeast Conference (NEC). The award is granted to the head coach voted to be the most successful that season by the league's coaches. The award was first given following the 1986 season, the sixth year of the conference's existence, to Bill Sento of Loyola (MD).[1]
Monmouth has won the award five times, but is no longer a member of the Northeast Conference. Considering only current conference members, Mount St. Mary's and St. Francis Brooklyn are tied for the most awards, with four apiece. Worth considering is that Mount St. Mary's discontinued their men's soccer program after the 2012 season, yet they will reinstate the program for the 2018 season.[2]
