Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) is a system of schools in Montgomery County, Tennessee with a population of over 147,000 people. It is the seventh largest district in Tennessee and has earned whole district accreditation. CMCSS is also ISO 9001 certified. Dr. B.J. Worthington is the Director of Schools.

There are 39 schools in the district serving approximately 32,000 children from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade: one K-5 magnet school, 23 elementary, 7 middle, 7 high, and one middle college (on the campus of Austin Peay State University). The middle college allows high school juniors to take one university course for credit, and high school seniors to take two courses for credit.

The school system employs about 3,900 teachers, administrators and support staff.
