The Ogden A's were a former minor league baseball team located in Ogden, Utah. They played as the Triple-A farm club of the Oakland Athletics. The team only played for two seasons, 1979 and 1980. Moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1981 when purchased by Peter Pocklington to become the Edmonton Trappers.
In 1979, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson played for the Ogden A's before his major league debut with the Oakland Athletics.[1]
