Old United States Chancery, Colombo
Old United States Chancery is the offices of the USAid in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The house which was named Rickman House was built by Meedeniya Adigar and was the home of D. R. Wijewardena who married Meedeniya eldest daughter Alice. It was renamed Sri Ramya and was purchased by the Government of the United States to serve as the chancery of its Embassy in Sri Lanka. It functioned in that capacity until the United States Embassy moved to a new premises and the Old Chancery building was transferred to USAid.[1][2]
