Olivier Pfister

Olivier Pfister is a French physicist, professor of Experimental Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics at the University of Virginia.[1] He obtained his doctorate in physics in 1993 at the University of Paris. Olivier Pfister also specializes in the fields of Quantum Fields and Quantum Information.[2][3] He is credited with coining the term "Hilbertian Sandwich" to describe expectation values.[4]
