Oviglio (Ovij in Piedmontese) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) southeast of Turin and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,248 and an area of 27.3 square kilometres (10.5 sq mi).[1]
Oviglio borders the following municipalities: Alessandria, Bergamasco, Borgoratto Alessandrino, Carentino, Castellazzo Bormida, Felizzano, Incisa Scapaccino, Masio, and Solero.
