Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Paul Behr (9 May 1910 – 11 December 1990) was a highly decorated Hauptmann of the Reserves in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Paul Behr was captured by American troops in April 1945 and was released in May 1945.
