Paulus Hungarus
Paulus Hungarus (Paul the Hungarian) was a Hungarian[1] friar of the Dominican Order[2] who lived during the thirteenth century,[3] and is author of the Summa poenitentiae,[4][5] Hungarus also annotated Compilatio I-III, a collection of Canon law.[6][7] Hungarus planned a network of monasteries throughout the Kingdom of Hungary to act as a bulwark against heresy, one of which is the Biserica Mănăstirii Dominicane in Sighişoara.[8]
