Pawan Kumar (Kannada: ಪವನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, born 29 October 1982) is a film Director, actor and screenwriter in the Kannada film industry.[1] He is well known for the films Manasaare, Pancharangi, his directorial debut Lifeu Ishtene and the 2013 psychological thriller Lucia became one of the biggest turning points of his career. Being from a theatre background, he wrote scripts for plays on stage before working as an associate director with Yograj Bhat.[2]

As director
Kumar made his début as a director with the 2011 film Lifeu Ishtene and went on to direct the critically acclaimed film Lucia in 2013.[3] He is currently working on another crowd-funded film C10H14N2 , which is at its pre-production stage.[4]
