Penugonda is a village in West Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1] This town is different from similar-sounding town Penukonda, which is in Anantpur district. The town is famous for Kanyaka Parameswari Temple which is a goddess for a section of people who are called Arya Vysya.
