Per Gessle was released on 8 April, 1983 and is the first solo album of Swedish pop artist Per Gessle. The album peaked at #5 on the Swedish albums chart.[1] Before releasing this album, Gessle got famous as singer of the Swedish band Gyllene Tider. A re-release on CD, released on September 1, 1992 had three bonus tracks.
