Perham Down
Perham Down is a village in Wiltshire, England, near Ludgershall and Tidworth. It is on the edge of Salisbury Plain about 6 miles (10 km) northwest of Andover, Hampshire and is often referred to by locals as Perham. The village is in Tidworth civil parish.
Army
In 1915 a hutted camp was built on Perham Down.[1] The barracks were rebuilt between 1972 and 1974 and renamed Swinton Barracks at that time.[2]
