Peter Arthur Cox (born 1922) is a British civil engineer.
Early life
He was born in London in 1922 and has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.[1][2]
Military career
Cox served as a commissioned officer in the Royal Engineers during the Second World War, being promoted from cadet to lieutenant on 15 August 1943.[3] His war emergency commission was confirmed on 17 November 1948 with seniority of 30 October 1945.[4]
Engineering career
Cox was also a fellow of the City and Guilds of London Institute.[1] He was elected president of the Institution of Civil Engineers for the November 1980-1 session.[1]
