Peter Wilson (bishop)
Piers Holt Wilson (known as Peter; 1883–3 February 1956)[1] was an Anglican bishop in the mid part of the 20th century.[2]
Wilson was educated at Sherborne School and Oriel College, Oxford.[3] After a period of study at Wells Theological College, he was ordained in 1910. He became the rector of All Saint’s St Andrews and then Dean of the Diocese of Saint Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane before being appointed Bishop of Moray, Ross and Caithness in 1943.[4]
