A male Phaonia pallida
Phaonia pallida is a species of fly which is distributed across parts the Palaearctic.[1][2]
Its larvae have been found growing in various fungi (Amanita rubescens, Clitocybe nebularis, Lepista flaccida, Xerula radicata) and also under tree bark.[3]
