Phuket FantaSea

Phuket FantaSea is a cultural theme park on the island of Phuket, in the south of Thailand.[1][2] The park opens in the evening until late night.

Phuket FantaSea Thai cultural theme park is managed by Phuket FantaSea Public Company Limited which headquarters are in 99 Moo 3, Tambon Kamala, Kathu, Phuket 83150 Thailand. The company was founded on 21 June 1996 and registered as a public company on 1 July 1996 with a capital of THB 1,900 million. The park was created at a cost of over THB 3,500 million. The founder is Dr. Pin Kewkacha, one of Thailand’s most prominent businessmen and socialites. His son, Mr. Kittikorn Kewkacha, and daughter, Mrs Sopida Kewkacha (Cherdchai), were the creators of the park.

Phuket FantaSea is located on 100 rai of land (or approximately 40 acres / 16 hectares) and divided into the following sections:

1. Magic Mountain 2. Festival Village 3. The Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant 4. The Palace of the Elephants Theater 5. Fantasy of a Kingdom Show

Magic Mountain Magic Mountain is a replica of the mountain range in the South of Thailand (James Bond Island) and serves as a welcome reception area in front of the Park.

Festival Village Shopping Paradise Festival Village is a shopping street. There are also an a la carte restaurant, a fast food eatery and bars.

The Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant The Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant is designed in Ayutthaya-era architectural style, occupying an area of 5,220 m2 (approximately 1.3 acres). It has the capacity to accommodate 4,000 seated guests. The Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant opens only in the evening and serves Thai, Chinese, Indian, Western, Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal food. Buffet Dining Hours are from 18:00 till 21:00 hr. The Palace of the Elephants Theater The Palace of the Elephants Theater is a reproduction of Sukhothai era stone elephant palace. Taking up the area of approximately 10 rai (4 acres) and 3 floors, it has a seating capacity of 3,000. The theater stage is 42 m long, 25 m wide and 10 m high. Fantasy of a Kingdom Show Fantasy of a Kingdom Show is a Thai cultural show mixed with illusion techniques and special effects. The show is approximately 70 minutes in duration.

Major honors and awards Phuket FantaSea is a major attraction in Phuket, visited by many well known figures, notably, Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna, David Copperfield, Li Peng (Premier of China), Mr. Lu s Carlos Almeida da Cunha "Nani" (Portuguese footballer) . The park is also the recipients of several world awards.

Phuket FantaSea is located on Kamala Beach, next to Patong Beach, on the Andaman Sea side of Phuket island. Distance from Phuket International Airport is 23 km, and from Patong Beach is 9 km.
