Phylus palliceps is a species of plant bugs belonging to the family Miridae, subfamily Mirinae. It is found throughout United Kingdom where it feeds on oaks. The species is 4.5–5.5 millimetres (0.18–0.22 in) long.[1] It have reddish colour head with yellow antennaes with the first joint of which is of brown colour. Rostrum is yellow with brown tip. Eyes and abdomen are brown too. Its connexivum, tarsus, and legs are yellow with fine hairs on them of the same colour which get brown in the middle.[2]
