Poo-Pourri

Poo-Pourri (stylized as Poo~Pourri) is a deodorising toilet spray, which consists of a blend of essential oils and other natural compounds claimed by the manufacturer to create a protective film on the surface of the water in a toilet bowl.[1]

The company is most noted for its YouTube viral advertisement, entitled "Girls Don't Poop" starring Bethany Woodruff.[2][3] In April 2014, the company reported their product had been made available in 9,000 stores, such as CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ulta, in which over 10 million bottles had been sold.[3][4] In May 2014, Poo-Pourri won People's Voice Award in the 18th Annual Webby Awards in the Consumer Goods category, and Edison Award in the Innovative Services category.[5]

Poo-Pourri was created by Suzy Bátiz, who is the company's current CEO.[6]

Recognition

Poo~Pourri received a People's Voice Award in the 18th Annual Webby Award for their viral marketing campaign in 2014.[7]

USA Today ranked "Girls Don't Poop" ad one of the worst ads of 2013.[8]
