Precis ceryne, the marsh commodore, is a species of butterfly in the Nymphalidae family, native to Subsaharan Africa.[1][2]

Wingspan: 40–45 mm in males and 42–50 mm in females.[1]

Flight period is from December to March and April to June in two broods.[1]

Diet

Larval food plants include Coleus, Plastostema, and Pycnostachys species.[2]
