Promicromonospora xylanilytica is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming and xylan-degrading bacterium from the genus of Promicromonospora which has been isolated from the leaves of the plant Maytenus austroyunnanensis in Xishuangbanna in China.[1][3][4][5]
