Pyrgospira ostrearum, common name the oyster turrid, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Pseudomelatomidae.[1]
Description
The size of the shell varies between 13 mm and 25 mm.
Distribution
This species occurs in the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and off the Lesser Antilles; in the Atlantic Ocean from North Carolina, USA, to Eastern Brasil.
