Quantm

QuantM Technologies Inc. is an information technology company based in USA, with offices in India, UAE and Singapore whose name is derived from the word "quantum".[1]

Trimble Quantm is a software package that is used to optimise the roads and railway alignments.[2] The program digitises an otherwise tedious and laborious task where huge amounts of data are involved and a considerable number of options are available. The Quantm software takes all the data and constraints and generates a prioritised list of optimal alignments that the user can choose between.

Quantm software was originally developed by the CSIRO of Australia, and is now owned by Trimble Navigation and developed at Trimble Alignment Planning Solutions in Melbourne, Australia.
