R Muscae is a star in the constellation Musca. It is a Classical Cepheid variable ranging from apparent magnitude 5.93 to 6.73 over 7.5 days. It is a yellow-white supergiant ranging between spectral types F7Ib and G2Ib,[2] located around 2037 light-years away.[3]
