Rain World is a survival platformer video game.
Gameplay
The player's character, part-slug and part-cat, uses spears and rocks to survive amongst larger animals in ruins of technologically advanced civilisation.[2]
Development
The development team consists of two people.[3] The team announced that it was in the last phases of development in early 2016.[4]
Reception
Graham Smith (Rock, Paper, Shotgun) followed the game from its early development and wrote that he appreciated everything about the game, apart from its controls.[5] Kotaku praised the game's animations and compared its combinations of puzzles and platforming to Metroid and Oddworld.[6]
