Rajindar Nath Rehbar (Urdu:راجندر ناتھ رہبر)(Hindi:राजेंदर नाथ रहबर)(born in 5 November 1931) is a renowned Urdu Poet and Bollywood lyricist. He is the writer of famous nazm Teri Khushboo Me Base Khat sung by legendary ghazal singer Jagjit Singh.[1]

Early and personal life

Rajindar Nath Rehbar was born in Shakargarh Punjab (now in Pakistan). After initial years of primary schooling in Shakargarh. He studied in Punjab University where he completed his Post-Graduation from Khalsa College and did LLB from Punjab University.[2][3]

Literary career

Rajendar Nath Rehbar has been started written poetry since his childhood. He has been an active Urdu poet and writer. He has written serval genres of urdu literature like Ghazal and Nazm. Rajendar Nath Rehbar is among most recognized urdu poets. His ghazals are particularly famous in young audience.[4] Rajindar Nath Rehbar has performed at more than 2000 shows and kavi sammelans over four decades. He has recited his poetry in many foreign countries like United States of America, Canada, United States of Emirate etc.[5][6][7]
