Rathgama is a small coastal town situated in Galle District, Southern Province of Sri Lanka. it also name rajgama means kings village built by minister devapathiraja, Parakramabahu the second in the 12th century during Dambadeniya period. this village gifted by king parakramabahu second to minister devapathiraja for his loyalty
