Regina Riot (football)
The Regina Riot are Regina`s first and only women's tackle football team in the Western Women's Canadian Football League competing in the Prairie Conference. The team, and the league just ended their fifth season. Their provincial rivals are the reigning league champions, the Saskatoon Valkyries.
Of note, the team snapped the Saskatoon Valkyries undefeated streak and claimed the 2013 Prairie Conference regular season title. The current head coach is Shawn McCall and the team General Manager is Emma Hicks. Games are contested at Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field.
