Rhymes of Praise is the first studio album by English nasheed vocal group Labbayk, released on 20 August 2008 by Safar Media. [1]
Composition and release
The album contains eight nasheeds, consisting of hamds (praising Allah) and na'ats (praising the Islamic prophet Muhammad). It also includes Qur'an recitation by Shaykh Shah Mizanul Hoque. The lyrics and content were verified in order to maintain the limits and boundaries of Shari’ah (Islamic law) by ulama (Muslim scholars) Shaykh Hussain Ahmed, Mufti ‘Umair Zulfiqar, Shaykh Muhammad Sibbini and Shaykh Sulayman Ghani.
