Rich Keeble is a British actor.[1] His television credits include The Delivery Man, Lee Nelson's Well Good Show, Alan Carr's Summertime Specstacular, Alan Carr's New Year Specstacular, Fool Britannia (starring Dom Joly), and Birds of a Feather. He has also appeared in a number of television and online commercials, web series, and independent short and feature length films. He co-writes and co-stars in the award winning comedy web series All in the Method. He also stars in the comedy web series Rich Keeble Vanity Project and Rules of Life.[2]
In January 2011 he starred as British double agent Donald MacLean in A Morning with Guy Burgess at the Courtyard Theatre, London,[1][3][4][5] written by John Morrison and based on the life of Guy Burgess.[6] The play was featured on The Review Show on BBC Two.[7]
In 2013 he appeared in a recurring ident on the BBC directed by Victoria Pile, playing the character of Gary whose living room is invaded by a panda played by Steve Marsh[8]
In 2014 he appeared in the comedy sketch show Kaile, Keeble & Kuntz with Luke Kaile at the Edinburgh Fringe[9] and starred in the first of a series of McDonald's television adverts for their weekly My Burger campaign.[10]
In 2015 he portrayed Dr. Williams in the drama thriller film Survivors.[11]
From September 2015 he has been heard as the voiceover for the Property Partner television advert,[12] and since October 2015 has starred in comedy television adverts for Topcashback.[13] He also appeared as a cookery teacher in the 2015 Lidl Christmas television advert.[14]
In February 2016 he starred in a series of online social media comedy videos for Doubleshot TV.[15][16][17] In May 2016 he voiced comedy online commercials for ITV2's Love Island.[18][19]
On 12 September 2016, a series of online videos featuring his voice and starring Ewen MacIntosh were released for Recycle Week.[20]
The web series Rich Keeble Vanity Project won the "Best UK Series" award at UK Web Fest.[21] It was also nominated for "Best UK Series" and "Best Writing"[22] in the web series competition of the 24th Raindance Film Festival.
In November 2016 he regularly appeared on the entertainment television series Animal Antics on Viasat Nature, directed by Nick Mavroidakis (Rude Tube).[23][24]
Music
Keeble has also performed as a musician with a number of bands. He sang and played guitar in indie-rock band Goodbye Sergeants, who released the single "Boy Band Kind of Way" / "I Want to Get Fired" (2007) and the EPs Live at the Bullet Bar (2007) and An Opuscule Worthy Of A Monstrance (2009).[25][26] He also played live keyboards for indie-rock band The Splendour on their 2008 UK summer tour in support of their album Best Way To Make Money (2008),[27][28][29] culminating in a performance at the now defunct Beachdown Festival in Brighton.[30][31] He played live drums for anti-folk band Sergeant Buzfuz to support their album High Slang (2009),[32] including live session performances on both Marc Riley and Tom Robinson's BBC 6 Music radio shows.[33][34] He did not perform on the album itself. He played drums for Dr Strangely Strange during a London reunion show where Sergeant Buzfuz were supporting on 21 February 2009.[35] He currently plays drums in The Pistol Gang and The Preacher.[36][37]
