Richard C. Cathcart
Richard C. Cathcart is the current house majority leader of the Delaware House of Representatives. He is the representative for legislative district 9.
Family
Cathcart resides in Middletown, Delaware with his wife, Linda. The couple has no children.
Education
Cathcart received a BA in business administration from Wilmington College in Wilmington, Delaware.
Occupation
Aside from his duties as house majority leader, Cathcart works for Delaware State University where he serves as both the director of Purchasing and General Services and the associate vice president of Department of Business Services.
Legislative service
Cathcart previously served as a state representative from 1978–1982, and again from 1997–2007.
