Richard LeBlanc (born 1 July) is a film director and actor from New Brunswick, Canada and currently lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he works for Air Canada as a flight attendant. His notable works include: Lipstick, a short comedy LeBlanc wrote and produced, Ceux-là, a documentary that LeBlanc directed in which explores the issues with race and family.

CUBERS

LeBlanc is the director of a new documentary called CUBERS, which is scheduled to be released in November 2008 and will be shown on CBC The Lens, Biography, Access, and three other major television stations. Currently, LeBlanc is set to be at the premiere of his new documentary, CUBERS in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 14 September 2008. According to numerous articles on the internet, in which they interview LeBlanc. LeBlanc has stated that he does not know how to solve the Rubik's Cube, but hopes to solve it before the premiere of the film. Richard has also said that he did not intend for the film to become a documentary, instead Richard intended it to become a mockumentary.

LeBlanc is scheduled to do a roughly ten second shoot on the popular CBC show, The Hour, which is hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos. The taping will take place in December 2008.

Other experience

Although he is known for his film directing more than his acting, LeBlanc is also an accomplished actor. He has acted in numerous independent and student films and played a small role in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.

LeBlanc has an honors degree in the Writing and Performance Program of Humber College School of Comedy. His very first work was known as Counting The Days, in which gained him to be a finalist in the Atlantic Film Festival's Scripts Outloud contest in 2003.
