Richard Sammel (born 13 October 1960) is a German actor. He has appeared in more than 80 films since 1991. He is perhaps best known for his role as Thomas Eichhorst in the FX horror drama series The Strain (2014–present).
Personal life
Sammel speaks five languages: German (native), English (fluent), French (fluent), Italian (fluent), and Spanish (medium fluency).[1][2]
Sammel currently resides in Paris and Berlin with his girlfriend and his son. He also has two daughters.[3]
