Miscellanea
The school received local media attention in September 2014, when school officials refused to allow Lt. Colonel Sherwood Baker, an Army officer, onto school grounds because he was wearing his military uniform.[11] Rochester Schools Superintendent Robert Shaner quickly apologized for the incident, citing a private security firm's misunderstanding of district policy.[12]
