Rodero is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Milan and about 13 kilometres (8 mi) west of Como, on the border with Switzerland. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,109 and an area of 2.5 square kilometres (0.97 sq mi).[1]
