Ronald H. Lingren

Ronald H. Lingren was an American educator and politician.

Biography

Lingren was born on June 26, 1935 in Gowrie, Iowa.[1] After graduating from Iowa State University and the University of Iowa, Lingren became a member of the faculty of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.[2] He was also a member of the United States Army and the Air Force Reserve Command. Lingren has two children. Lingren died on June 1, 2015 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.[3]

Political career

Lingren was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1974, defeating incumbent John H. Niebler, and was re-elected in 1976 and 1978. He was a Democrat.[4]
