Rukadi

Rukadi is a village in Kolhapur district in the Indian state of Maharashtra, in western India.It is situated near Kolhapur-Sangli Highway about 413 kilometres (250 mi) from Mumbai, 19 km from Kolhapur, 11 km from Hatkanangle, 37 km from Sangli, and 11 km from Ichalkaranji. Near Rukadi,there is a river, "Panchganga", which has provided drinking and irrigation water for the village for many years. In 2011, the population of Rukadi was about 20000.
