Saadia Bourgailh, born Saadia Haddioui at Bejaâd in Morocco where she lived until 1999, is a French middle distance runner.
Biography
Born into a modest family, she started her studies in 1999 at the University of Toulouse II-Le Mirail where she obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Linguistic studies and a Master's degree in Language Processing. Passionate about running she began to train in France and won several titles in FFSU.
In 2004 she won her first title in the interrégionnal FFA cross country championships at Arnac-Pompadour (these were semi-final championships of French Cross-country) She then took a two years break from running to give birth to her first child.
Upon resumption of her training in 2006, she obtained French nationality and she gradually resumed training. She decided to devote himself to the practice of running, and began to train everyday.
The 2007–2008 season was a revelation in terms of results.
