Sadie Kaye
Sadie Kaye is a TV & radio presenter, filmmaker, writer and actress. A British national, she was born in Hong Kong, where she lives and works as a presenter for Radio Television Hong Kong. [1]
Career
1998-2006
After attending Murray Edwards College, Cambridge, [2] Kaye presented children's television series Beezwacks on TVB in Hong Kong [3] and Eat Your Words on GMTV (ITV) in London. [4] She created [5] and appeared as an actress [6] on Dinner Party, an interactive comedy series for ETV. [7] The show was commended for Best Use of New Media at the 2002 Broadcast Awards. [8] She featured on Channel 4 series The New Entrepreneurs. [9] [10] She was a judge of Channel 4 web comedy competition Comedy Circuit. [11] She appeared as an actress in sketch show Sack the Writer. [12]
2007-2014
She was a partner in Esther Rantzen's media company Blue Reef in 2006. [13] She produced and presented a series of 3 Minute Wonders about the 2009 CSJ Awards. [14] She produced and presented documentary films Sailing Miss Sadie (2010) [15] [16] [17] and Tucker's Luck (2011) [18] [19] [20] for Sky TV. She appeared as an actress in films West of Thunder (2012) [21] [22] [23] [24] and FLIM the Movie (2014). [25] She appeared as Miss Adventure in a broadcast comedy pilot shown on HBO's Funny or Die. 2015-present
She presents as Miss Adventure for Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). [28] [29] [30] She's appeared as a guest on RTHK's 123 Show. [31] [32] She produced and presented The Bipolar Express (2015) for RTHK. [33] [34] The documentary was Highly Commended by the Association for International Broadcasting at the 2015 AIB Media Excellence Awards. [35] [36] [37]

Charity
She has mentored young people from The Prince's Trust. [41] [42] [43] She is an ambassador for a Hong Kong children's charity, Child Builder. [44] In 2015 she set up Bipolar Hong Kong, [45] a support group for Hongkongers with bipolar disorder. [46]
Personal life
Kaye has bipolar disorder. [47] [48] She was diagnosed in 2011. She had previously battled viral meningitis and thyroid disease. [49]
