Saha Airlines (Persian: هواپیمایی ساها), also known as Saha Air, was an airline based in Tehran, Iran. The airline has not been active since 2013 although it still exists.
History
The company was established in 1990 as Saha Air Lines and was wholly owned by the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force. It operated domestic passenger services using two Airbus A300s and one Boeing 707 (a converted tanker), with cargo charters having been carried out with two Boeing 747 freighters when required. It was the last civil operator of the Boeing 707.[1]
On 3 May 2013, all flight operations were suspended.[1] In July 2013, the CEO of Saha Airlines stated in an interview with ISNA that the company is trying to buy or lease new planes.[2]

Scheduled flights were operated from Saha's base at Tehran-Mehrabad Airport to various domestic destinations.

Accidents and incidents
- On 20 April 2005, Saha Airlines Flight 171, a Boeing 707-320C, registration EP-SHE, flying from Kish Island, crashed on landing at Mehrabad Airport, Tehran following an unstabilised approach with a higher than recommended airspeed. Gears and/or a tire failed after touchdown and the flight overran the far end of the runway. Of the 12 crew and 157 passengers on board, 3 passengers were killed.[5]
