Sam Humphries (born in March 16, 1977) is an American comic book writer and photographer located in Los Angeles. Humphries was born in Annapolis, Maryland, but lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota, son of Sam B. Humphries, Jr. and Kathy Humphries.

Career

Sam Humphries began in American comic book market with the self-publishing of some works (for instance, Sacrifice), what was followed by series like Fanboys vs Zombies (Boom! Studios) and a series of John Carter (Gods of Mars) to Marvel. After the departure of Jonathan Hickman from the Ultimate Comics Ultimates, Humphries took the writing of that title.

Recently, during the event Secret Wars, Humphries has written the comic books Planet Hulk and Starlord and Kitty Pride.
