Sanjay Gupta (born December 7, 1966) is an Indian comic book writer, editor, and the studio head and co-founder of Raj comics. He is famous for establishing the superhero comics genre in India and in Hindi language. He provided the platform to Anupam Sinha who created the popular superhero Super Commando Dhruva.
Gupta is one of the key people of Raj Comics, along with his brothers Manish Gupta and Manoj Gupta. He created the characters Nagraj,[1] Doga,[2] Bhokal, Yoddha etc.

- Gupta communicates with Raj comics fans through his columns "Green Pages" and "Star Pages".
- He is often credited, along with Anupam Sinha-Jolly Sinha, as being responsible for the revival of the comics industry in India.A few years back, he was taking on more ambitious projects, such as the live action film of Doga, which was being produced by Phantom Films and directed by Anurag Kashyap.But the project was cancelled by Anurag Kashyap in 2016 and it was announced in 2008 that Anurag Kashyap will make a film on Doga and now the project is more or less dropped.
