Scotch Lake is a small community in York County, New Brunswick, Canada. It was founded by six families from Roxburghshire and Dumfriesshire in 1820.[1]

Scotch lake hosts many homes and cottages. It has provincial park trails, which are under Mactaquac Provincial Parks care. Local wildlife includes white tailed deer, black bears, wild hare, beaver. Its woods are home to a large variety of birds.

Scotch Lake has a population of around 300 people attracting fishermen and hunters to wide swaths of thick forest.
