Sean Jackson (Barbadian pianist)
Dr Sean Jackson (born 1973) is a Barbadian accomplished pianist and teacher. He began his career at the age of 5 and by the age of 11 he got his gold medal in National Independence Festival of Creative Arts. He was the subsequently awarded the national youth award from the Barbados Government.He went on to get numerous prizes from Royal College of Music, Tankard Organ, Royal School of Music and the Juilliard School. He received several degrees including a doctorate He has travel the world for performance several times. He began teaching at Stanford School and Greenwich School. He also directed music at Stanwich Congregational Church.
