Send for Help Group (founded in 2010) is the parent company of Skyguard Ltd and Bluechip Technologies Ltd (trading as Guardian24); two established lone worker protection providers.[1]
History
Send for Help Group is owned by Jan Murray, the technology entrepreneur widely known for establishing PC World Plc in 1991.[2] Between its subsidiary companies, Send for Help has a combined subscriber base of over 100,000 users across the UK and Ireland.[3]
Acquisition
Skyguard was the first sub brand acquired by Send for Help in March 2010, followed by Guardian24 in December 2014.[4][5]
Products
With both sub brands championing lone worker protection, several award winning products and services can be attributed to Send for Help. Skyguard’s product portfolio past and present includes the SG 500 device, GEMshield, MySOS Emergency, MySOS Mandown and a smartphone/tablet application, whilst Guardian24 offers the Microguard personal alarm along with the SPOT Gen3 and an application for smartphones and tablets.
