Sergio Scarpetta

Sergio Scarpetta is an Italian player in English draughts, which is also known as "American checkers" or "straight checkers." In English draughts he is a Grandmaster and in 2014-2016 was GAYP World Champion. In 2015 he won European Cup.[1]

Sergio Scarpetta first played in international competitions in 2011.[2] In 2014 году, when he was 23 years old, won match for the title GAYP World Champion against Barbadian Ron King.[3]

In 2016 in Rome Scarpetta played GAYP World Title Match with Michele Borghetti and lost world title.[4]
