Shadan Lund is dominated Area of Sori Lund tribe. The name Tuman Sori is named after Sardar Sori Khan Lund, grandson of Sardar Haider Khan Lund and son of Sardar Shadan Khan Lund. So town name is after Sardar Shadan Khan Lund.
This town is situated between Indus River and mountain Koh-e-Sulaiman range. Its distance from Koh-e-Sulaiman range is near 15km. This is the town of Dera Ghazi Khan With two canals on the western side whice raises the beauty of this town.
