Shinisauridae is a family of anguimorph lizards whose only living representative is the Chinese crocodile lizard (Shinisaurus) from China and Vietnam, but which also includes the extinct genus Bahndwivici from the Eocene Green River Formation of Wyoming in the United States.[1][2][3]
