Jan Simon Andersson (born 18 December 1980) is a Swedish bass player, guitarist, vocalist, music programmer, songwriter and record producer, best known for his work as a bass player in progressive metal band Pain of Salvation.

He's a multi-instrumentalist/producer in AudioPlastik, a metal band featuring vocalist Dec Burke (ex Frost*) and keyboard player Richard West (Threshold).

He also plays bass in progressive metal band Darkwater.[1]
