- Nikolaus Simrock, (23 August 1751 in Mainz – 12 June 1832 in Bonn), founder of N. Simrock
- Karl Joseph Simrock (1802–1876), son of Nikolaus
- Johann Peter Simrock , who expanded the Simrock firm to Paris
- Fritz Simrock (2 January 1837 – 20 August 1901), youngest son of Peter Joseph Simrock and grandson of Nikolaus Simrock
